This transaction, valued at ₹37 crore, took place in the same building where his parents, Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan, lived during the early days of their marriage.
A Significant Real Estate Move
According to a report from the Economic Times, Aryan’s new property is located in Delhi’s prestigious Panchsheel Park. Here, Shah Rukh Khan already owns the ground floor and basement. Aryan’s purchase, finalized in May 2024, required him to pay a substantial stamp duty of ₹2.64 crore. The building holds sentimental value for the Khan family, as it was home to Shah Rukh and Gauri Khan in their early years together. Gauri Khan has personally designed the interiors of Aryan’s new residence, reflecting its emotional importance to the family.
In an industry where high-value property deals, in Delhi, by Bollywood stars are not so common, Aryan Khan’s transaction stands out. Pradeep Prajapati, the founder of Wealthvisory Capital, a boutique real estate consultancy, remarked that such high-profile transactions are rare in Delhi. He recalled that Amitabh Bachchan previously sold his Gulmohar Park property in South Delhi for approximately ₹23 crore, highlighting the significance of Aryan’s recent investment.
Expanding the Khan Family’s Real Estate Portfolio
Both Aryan and his sister, Suhana Khan, have actively invested in real estate, further solidifying the Khan family’s real estate footprint. In January of the previous year, Suhana Khan acquired farmland in Alibaug, a coastal town in Maharashtra, for ₹12.91 crore. She expanded her property portfolio by purchasing a beachfront property near Mumbai in coastal Maharashtra in February 2024, a transaction totaling over ₹10 crore, including stamp duty charges.
