In a noteworthy real estate move, Bollywood icon Amitabh Bachchan has ventured into the world of commercial property, acquiring an impressive 8,400 square feet of office space within a prestigious project in Mumbai’s Andheri suburb, specifically in the Oshiwara locality. This substantial investment came at a price tag of approximately Rs 29 crore.
What makes this development even more intriguing is that Amitabh Bachchan is not the sole celebrity property owner in this venture. Fellow actors Kartik Aryan, Sara Ali Khan, and her mother Amrita Singh have also acquired office spaces within the same building. It’s worth noting that actors Ajay Devgan and Kajol had previously secured offices in this very project.
Amitabh Bachchan’s acquisition of these office spaces was facilitated through a transaction with real estate developer Veer Savarkar Projects. The registration process, conducted on September 1, involved a stamp duty payment of Rs 1.72 crore. Kartik Aryan, on the other hand, secured an office space covering nearly 2,100 square feet for a sum of Rs 10 crore. Meanwhile, Sara Ali Khan and Amrita Singh jointly purchased an office space of a similar size for a total of Rs 9 crore.
This significant investment by Bollywood celebrities underscores their growing interest in the Mumbai real estate market, particularly in commercial properties within the bustling Andheri suburb. It also reflects the enduring appeal of Andheri as a prime location for business ventures and real estate investments.
