In Hardoi, four individuals face stamp duty payments totaling Rs 12.33 lakh due to underpayment in land and building transactions.

Hardoi, Uttar Pradesh: Additional District Magistrate Priyanka Singh has issued orders requiring four individuals to pay a total of Rs 12.33 lakh in response to four cases involving insufficient stamp duty and registration fees during land and building purchases.

Shoaib Akhtar, a resident of Mohalla Idrishganj in the city, underpaid stamp and registration fees amounting to Rs 9,64,410. Similarly, Kallo, the wife of a resident in Bangarmau, Unnao district, owes Rs 1,00,481 in dues. Ramtun Nisha, wife of Mohammad Abid from Majra Sumerganj, Khanderia, Bilgram tehsil area, is required to pay Rs 30,557. Sajni, wife of Dharamveer and a resident of Hathora, Sawaijpur area, must deposit Rs 36,150. They have all been instructed to make these payments during the month of September.

These measures are taken to ensure proper revenue collection and adherence to legal obligations in property transactions within the district.
